Just Driver Training is based in Southampton and our driving lessons covers the New Forest, Totton, Romsey and all surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on our reputation for excellent customer service and the ability to get the best out of new drivers.
What you need
In order for you to start your driving lessons you will need to have received your provisional licence before you book your first lessons.
To get your full UK Driving licence you need to pass two tests, first a theory test then your practical test. Studying for your theory test while you are taking driving lessons will help you to see how it relates to driving on the road.

Starting Off
We can offer beginners with little or no driving experience a course of lessons starting with the basics and building up as confidence and ability improves. We will start off somewhere where there is very little traffic so you can practice moving off and stopping, junctions and turning left and right.
Once we have introduced you to a new skill we will teach you under full instruction, then as you improve we will reduce the level of instruction to prompted and then independent.
Our aim
Our aim is to get you to be able to drive independently, safely in the quickest possible time frame. So you are able to think for your self and make all the right decisions, to become a safe driver for life.
We recommend you aim to take your theory test after about 10 hours of driving lessons. Then we can work together to work out the best time frame to book your practical test.
To get the most out of your driving lesson you should try and turn up as if each lesson is your test, e.g. correct foot wear, not tired and definitely not with a hangover. To make the most progress we recommend that you have 2 hour lessons at least once a week more if you can.
Convenience
To help you we only use modern, well maintained vehicles with dual controls. We can pick up and drop you off from home, work, college or university. When you book a lesson with us you get the full time booked with no interruptions, we will not take calls when you are on your lesson. You can take lessons in the morning, afternoon or early evening.
